Buds & Birdies: Stoners’ Golf Tournament in Bangkok by High Society Thailand
Previous events have shown that High Society Cannabis Thailand brings people together from within and outside of the industry. Our first "Buds & Birdies" golf tournament was no exception. It was great fun with awesome weather which left all participants with memorable moments.
The tournament took place on 20th February 2024, at Lakewood Links Golf Course, a beautiful new golf course in Bangna, just 20 minutes outside of Bangkok. Featuring a typical links course with scenic holes and lots of water hazards, the entire club was exclusively reserved for Buds & Birdies, which provided a private and relaxed atmosphere.
This day was all about fusing the love of golf and cannabis. A special smoke station was set up between hole 8, 15 and 16 where the players could take a well-deserved break, smoke and enjoy snacks. As for a twist: for each visit, participants got a handicap of minus one score, allowing them to improve their game and move up the scoreboard.
